The book series provides a practical step-by-step approach to systematically understand and apply the basics of the language. In particular, it aligns with first year engineering courses such as APSC 160 at The University of British Columbia (Point Grey campus). Volume I consists of five chapters: Where to Start?, Fundamentals, Branch Control Statements, Loop Control Statements, and File Input/Output.
